The game will also have a feature similar to the Diablo random level generation system, a "Procedural Content Creation System", which will influence the weaponry seen in-game, as well as some parts of the in-game world and various enemy creatures.[7] In a preview of Borderlands, MTV Multiplayer claimed to have seen the debug menu for the game. According to them, the Debug menu listed the total number of weapons in the game as 3,166,880, although this is now thought to be more around 17,750,000.[8][9]
I thought this part was pretty cool.
I know a couple of people that snagged it yesterday that said it's pretty good. I wanted to see if anybody has heard of or played it yet.

The couple people I know that bought it are completely obsessed with it. One guy said his GF said he was talkin in his sleep about machine guns and rocket launchers. LOL!
Played it a little last night. The multi player game was messed up, I couldn't join any games, and nobody joined my game, so I was solo-ing most of the night. Checked the borderlands message board, apparently 98% of the people are having the same problem.

I played this for a while, don't play it much anymore as I got bored of it after I beat the game 6 times in a row lol. I have a level 50 Lilith, level 50 gunslinger Mordecai, and level 50 turret/support Roland. I thought my Mordecai was good til I built my Lilith, she rapes anything with the smg/dps build. I have some legendary smg with ammo regen and some other stuff, as well as a crazy class mod, etc.
haha nah it doesn't take that long when you have the right gear and a good party. I could run someone through playthrough 1 in a matter of hours with my Lilith. Second playthrough on each char went by really fast as well. Most of the time I was playing with 2 or 3 friends so we flew through the game...but yeah I played it quite a bit hence why I have 3 level 50s all geared out with the best stuff.
My buddy and I were playing on PC (back when it first came out) and within the first day of playing, we discovered you can dupe items and dupe characters (on PC). Kinda lost interest half way through.
I got the add on pack, Armory of General Knoxx. It totally kicks ass, and you can make your character up to level 61 now. So many new weapons and items, it's like a whole new game for $10 more. (downloadable, for PC).
