Shift 2 is a lot like the first one. I think the graphics are a little better and you can race at night as well as the much better track selection. It blows Grid out of the water.

I'd go for Dirt 3 if you had the choice. Its all the great things about Dirt 2 + Gymkhana and much better rally racing.

 

Thanks, I ended up getting Dirt 2, didn't want to spend $60 on a game saving that up for GOW3 (Fiancee said she'll play with me lol). Will get Shift 2 once I finish this game or when I get bored of it. I already finished Shift 1 twice.

P.S. Anyone know how to upload videos from PS3/XBOX to computer/youtube? I googled it and is there a 1-2 step of doing it? I saw some video's and seems to be alot of steps.

 

Dirt 2 was a MAJOR improvement over the 1st one.

Most underrated racing game of all time. Been revisiting Shift 2 this past week and am reminded of how great of a game it is. Immersion, fantastic tracks, the best mods....I think Slightly Mad truely captured what it is like to be at the wheel of a 1000hp super car. Violent, unpredictable and almost gruesome.

Took some screens of todays gameplay. It may not be as clean as Forza, but it looks about 9000% more real.
