I only have 1080i on my 360... but i'm picking it up on my way home from work to the gym... it'll be one of the fastest workouts ever... it definitely won't leave my 360 for atleast a week...

i just spent a few hours playing it and then I had to rip myself away to go to the gym... (I couldn't wait and had to pick it up on the way home from work)...
What a great game! From playing the demo I didn't understand what they meant when they said 'no one will ever play the same way twice, no two players will ever play the same game' but now I do... it really is amazing..
How far have people gotten? I've gotten to Neptune's Bounty and killed the first Big Daddy in that level, but just started having trouble killing the 2nd one... with a 3rd one lurking somewhere.
Has anyone figured out a 'quicker' or 'easier' way of killing the Big Daddies? (electroshock to stun, then machine gun has been working OK for me so far)
Did anyone other than me save any of the Little Daughters just out of curiosity to see what your reward would be?? (I saved the first two - 80 ADAM ea., and Harvested the 3rd - IIRC around 200 ADAM!!)
I really want to go back and play but will have to save some for another day... I figure I have a whole month to beat this until Halo 3 lands!

^^ I also recently got to Neptune's Bounty....killed the first big daddy there and pretty much stopped at the vending machine that came up after. So that makes a total of 2 bid daddies that I have killed myself. The first, I didn't even use the electric shock (I didn't think it would affect him for some reason?) so I just used brute force. The second one I died a few times trying to beat him (but each time resumed the saved game just before i battled him), but my strategy was to light him on fire (he has oil on him, so he'll burn for awhile) and pump him with bullets until he is finally dead. (playing on medium btw)
I saved one little sister because that woman was watching me the first time, but i harvested the next two. the decoy plasma is eh, I think i'll go for the freeze plasma, which I have yet to try.

I don't kill big daddies right away because I have the plasmid to charm the big daddies. But the easiest way I've found to kill them is a electro buck(shotgun ammo) to the head.

I bought this game yesterday from Gamestop. Was excited about the purchase and I didn't reserve the copy, they had 4 extra copies. Well, I get home pop in the game and began playing it. I get 10 minutes into the game the game freezes up on me. I said wtf to myself when this happened . I walked over to my console powered it off and then back on. The game is working for a few minutes then again freezed. I turn it off and on then guess what , YEP 
I see the three flashing red lights of DEATH!!!! I was so pissed off. I started saying fuck MS Im heading to Sony to get a PS3. I just bought this game and it breaks, but the days previous it worked with a few freezes here and there but nothing major like what just happened.
I called MS tech support they have you turn off the box, remove the hd then turn it back on. Im doing it, like this is not going to solve the issue
I did it anway and no it didnt solve the problem. They registed my xbox and will be sending me a box postaged already paid to ship my console so they can either fix it or replace it. Now I have to wait more than 2 weeks to enjoy playing BIOSHOCK

Try pumping him full of grenades with the launcher (best with heat-seeking RPGs). Didn't even need to use a health pack.

I'm like 40 minutes into the game. Call me a noob, but I'm having hard time conserving bullets. That first encounter with the grandma was a bit creepy. I love the mood of this game....

How many shots to the head with the electro buck does it take??
I def have to figure out something better than the shock/machine gun combo takes too much health damn machine gun isn't accurate enough...

My xbox360 works again. The red flashing lights finally went away. I used the towel wrap solution. The xbox stayed wrapped for 20 minutes. After the time limit I unwrapped the box stood it upright power it "off then on." Guess what??? The xbox works now. Thats weird, strange but very interesting all at the same time.

The game is scary at times, Grafix are insane, and Audio is fantastic. I have a lil gripe about this game though. For instance I see you can turn the Quest Arrow on if you get lost, which comes in hand time 2 time. It is very easy to get caught in the maze, running around in circles. Later found out is you cannot use the Quest Arrow the entire time, which sucks BIG TIME!!! I'm at a point in the game I can't seem to find where to go next. Instead I keep running around incircles. You cannont use the map throughout the entire game. What kind of shit is that? The enemies with their dam ass guns start firing it at me. When I get hit by the bullets the screen blurs, its already a dark setting, then you are trying to locate the splicers. I hope the game gets better as a play getting further in the game.

Be aware that there is a lot of controversy surrounding Bioshock since it uses SecureRom and hardware hashes. Have fun trying to uninstall it or installing it again if you change you hardware.
Not to mention SecureRom transmits your info back to the company to sell off.

I just got into Arcadia... I'd assume I'm about halfway through the game? After about 7 hours of game play give or take... i think the 15-25 hr mark (to beat the game) is pretty spot on.

Damn, you guys are far in the game. I'm still at the medical place looking for the telekinesis plasmid. I love the fire plasmid. With pointing of the index finger, BOOM the dude is on fire!
Being an FPS, they should seriously give you more bullets. I'm constantly running low on $, Mana (Or whatever they call it), bullets and money. Not quite sure what an Adam is just yet, but I'm sure I'll find out the significance of it once I meet the first Big Daddy.

How many of you guys are playing this game on Easy? I'm playing on Normal, and I'm constantly finding myself running low on ammos, money and replenishers on eve and energy. Will this improve later on?
