This game is from the creators of System Shock 2 on the PC, one of the scariest games ever. I'm highly anticipating this game and it won best of E3 awards earlier this year from many publications.

360, PS3: Bioshock **Confirmed for PS3 (page 1)**
BIOSHOCK!!!
Taken from IGN's 360 board:
Did anyone see that thread about BioShock in the 360 lobby? Here's what it said:
Some reviews so far:
OXM UK - 10
PC Gamer UK - 9.5
Xbox World - 9.4
Alternative Press - 10
Game Informer - 10 (rumor)
"A Perfect Score: That's what BioShock deserves as it is one of the most original, haunting and memorable shooters to come along since Half Life."
-AP
"This is the really bewildering thing about it: it succeeds so stunningly on three different fronts. Not esoteric ones, either, these are the big challenges developers have been struggling to master for decades: narrative, emergence, a sense of place. If another game did just one of these as well as BioShock, it would immediately qualify as a classic. When a game comes along that does all three, we can only be baffled and thankful.
I spend my career, and my gaming life, waiting for a moment when a game just astonishes me, when I can't believe what I'm seeing, what I'm doing. BioShock has five."
-PCG UK
"BioShock is a novel compressed into a first-person shooter. It manages to be both a tricky, exciting action game, a fascinating creation of an enclosed world and a deep enquiry about what it means to be human - a trick most action movies and books fail to achieve. It also plays with you at every stage, confounding your expectations and your control over events repeatedly, from your control over your weapons, Plasmids, plot, self...
And this is where we have to stop ourselves - we don't want to spoilt it. What we can tell you is you'll be playing this game for months to come, exchanging story elements to build up the bigger picture, and arguing about what it all means. Come, join the argument, play the impossible game."
-OXM UK
It just keeps getting better and better everyday.

^ I'm telling you Sly. This game is going to keep us busy till Halo 3 comes out next month. If FPS isn't your cup of tea for now, get Blue Dragon. That's coming out the end of this month as well. The thing is, you rarely come across a game that's getting 9 - 10 rating all across the board. The last time I saw it, it was Halo.

tsk tsk tsk...You're missing out. As big of a Halo fan as I am, there are so many good games coming out this year it isn't even funny. Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, BioShock, Blue Dragon, Assassin's Creed.....etc etc...

I'm playing the demo. Wow I thought this game was gonna be overhyped and not too good. But damn the demo is scary and fun. Awesome game.

this is so well done....I thought the whole genetic power thing was gonna be lame, but they somehow just made it really cool.

is anyone getting this for the PC? I'd honestly perfer it for the PC because I think the mouse/keyboard is much easier to use and more accurate than the controller. The only thing is that I don't think my 2 year old PC could handle it at a level that I would be okay with. It handled half life 2, but that is an older game.
this why PC gaming is so fucking hard to deal with.....every time you want to play a new game you realize that you need a new computer

Well, this is a game that would traditionally only go to the pc, but i'm glad that it is also comming to the 360, I really wan't to wait for some new affordable dx10 cards to come out before I spend more money on my pc.
I just wish Microsoft let developers do what the ps3 guys can do, which is mouse and keyboard action.

Well I'm gonna pre-order the collectors edition soon. I hope 2kgames is shipping a lot of copies, because this game surely will sell.
