Anyone start playing? For the lesser-informed, BlazBlue was made by Aksys and Arc Systems, the same companies that put together the Guilty Gear series. Their formula is pretty much the same, anime-inspired 2D characters, fast fighting and awesome music.

Just to clarify, I fucking love this game.

I love the different personality and fighting style in each character. Nothing against the SF series, but I got tired of the same 6 or 7 characters having the same fighting style and same costumes.

Helps to have friends that are really good at this game as well .. I went 0-7 last night against them, and I'm not exactly a pushover.

 

So, does it play like Guilty Gear...? Cuz, I love that series...still play it from time to time on the PS2.

 

There are some characters in BB that are similar to the more popular characters in Guilty Gear in terms of their fight style. Otherwise, like I said, their formula's the same .. expect some fast fighting on par with the GG series, which I still play as well.

 

Hrm...will definitely keep my eyes peeled for this one. Although, I'll likely wait until the pricing drops. I have too many games still to finish.

Hopefully, it'll be less busy once I'm married...
