I like the animation style and the gameplay is unique, at least to me. The level kind of forms as you go, for a lack of a better description. You can level up weapons you find and unlock new abilities as you go. It's a hack and slash with depth. The biggest standout is the narration though.... it's reactive, meaning it changes depending on what you/your character does. The narrator's comes close to sounding like a white Morgan Freeman.

Plus I'm always for supporting the underdogs and little guys. Supergiant Games ironically enough is an independent developer.

On PC you get it through Steam. Currently on sale through tonight for half price ($7.49) I swear I'm not getting any royalties.
