360: Forza Horizon
oh gawd...
ooooohhh hohoho. i like.
"You can take the same rally upgrades that are featured in the cars that are packed in with the expansion pack and apply them to any car in your Forza Horizon garage," Fulton explains. "These upgrades include rally tires for improved grip on loose dirt and gravel, springs and dampers that raise and soften the suspension to maintain stability on the most sever off-road terrain, and rally transmissions that feature shorter gear ratios more suited to the quick accelerating nature of rally racing. I think these cross-game upgrades are a game-changer for Horizon – they allow you to upgrade any car you own into a dirt-eating machine for use in the Rally Expansion Pack stages."

No way in hell I am buying any addition DLC for this game. This should have been included in the game in the first place. This game was barely worth $60, let alone $80+.
Ive been looking for a definitive answer saying its included in the Season Pass. If it isnt, Im not getting it. Ive already got $110 tied into this game, Im not giving them another $20.
I started up GT5 yesterday. I havent played it in so long that I had to wait for about 4GBs of updates to download
About 30 minutes into playing it I got incredibly bored and shut it off. Forza may not be on the same level as GT5 when it comes to physics, but GT5 can't hold a candle to Forzas graphics, sounds, or menu layout.
/useless rant
I can't wait for the rally pack though. Im really looking forward to putting offroad tires on my Jeeps and raising them up.

I sometimes wish I had a PS3 so I could play some Gt5. I've never really played it, but was addicted to 2,3 & 4. It still looks very stale to me, even though its pretty.
I have a PS3, I bought it to only play the exclusives (GT series were left out), but my one HUGE gripe about the console is the updates, so fucking stupid.Oh you haven't played in a while? Well instead of giving you the most current update, you need EVERY update you missed.

Yay! You just downloaded all the updates, now we have to install them. :troll:
And it takes just as long to install them as it does to DL.

I look at it this way....
Forza has the market for driving sim on the 360, and they do it better than anyone else. Dan Greenawalt, in every single repetitive interview says that if Turn 10 can't do something perfect, they wont do it. I believe that was their excuse for no night or weather in Forza 4. They do not, however, have the market for rally racing. Why would they even think they could put rally stages in Forza when competing with the Dirt series. It just seems like an after thought, the cars don't even get dirty. When I think rally, I think bad weather and grimy cars.
As for the million different road surfaces...dirt, mud, asphalt, gravel, pavement. 5 is all you need.
On a complete side note that has nothing to do with anything...Dan got a BA in religion?!?! I guess that really goes to show you how important your degree is.

yay for fios and SSD in my ps3.. lol
I enjoyed the rally pack. But wtf, only 6 races? I already beat the rally championship, and I played for maybe 2 hours.
I do not like that you can't drive the rally circuits in free roam. Horizon was decent for a day or two, but now its back to gay.
Side not - Celica + Supra motor = holy shit AWD launches.

Rally was a lot of fun. There are 6 races and each race has 4 stages to complete. The first 3 stages are usually about 1-2 minutes long and the last race is 3-4 minutes long.
I'm disappointed that it wasn't an add-on to the existing map, rather a separate part of the game. Also, most of the tracks are the same, they just have dirt and jumps added.
