I'm leaving the Endurance Races for the end. I'm going to do all of the races I can before tackling those.

 

Im level 50 but only 40% done.

Btw I've been making bank by buying cars in the auction house for dirt cheap and flipping them. I made close to $250k today alone.

911 GT2 bought for $53,564, sold for $74,860
Reventon bought for $180,000, sold for $200,000
FXX bought for $100,000, sold for $116,000
911 GT2 bought for $39,000, sold for $61,000

So I invested $372,564, sold the cars for $451,860. Profit of $79,296. Not bad.

So I've been playing Forza like hell recently. I have a sinus infection so I sleep in late, eat lunch, and sit on my ass all afternoon. I'm making good progress through the game, I'm currently 84.7% done with career.

I decided to get rid of cars in my garage that I've never used or only used a few times. Sounds simple, but for me that meant I had to go though over 200 cars and decide what I didn't want anymore. From Fiats to Porsches to Zondas, I got rid of them. Instead of just selling them, I was sneaky and put them in the Auction House. I would see how much the game would give me for the car and then I would post the car in the auction house and start the bidding at the price the game wanted to give me. On average I made ~$15,000 extra per car selling in the Auction House rather than selling it outright.

I've been flipping cars quite a bit recently as well. Here are just a few examples of how I've been making easy money (the format is credits bought for/credits sold for):

911 (997) GT2: 39,000/61,000
Ford GT: 35,000/50,000
Clio: 13,000/50,000
LP640: 76,000/168,000
300SL: 581,650/649,500

Imagine making that much profit per car you sold. Now multiply that by the around 90 or so cars I sold in the Auction House. I'm really proud of that 300SL sale too. Check the pictures below





Anyways back to me emptying the garage, I posted over 120 cars in the Auction House. 80% of my cars sold which means instant cash in my pocket. Any of the cars that didn't sell, I went to the garage and sold the car regularly. I went from ~210 cars to only 65. I kept a few personal favorites such as Audi S4/S5, Dodge Viper ACR, most Lambos, Veyron, Enzo, FXX, etc etc. Doing all of this put around ~7,900,000 credits in the bank.

I planned on just saving the credits up so I can afford to screw around with cars later down the road when I finish career. Unfortunately I found two cars I HAD to buy, and here they are:

F50GT:



599XX (yes I really spent 3.5 million credits on it):







I've been considering picking up the F40 Competizione, but I won't get it unless I get sick of driving the F50GT. I've also got my eyes on the McLaren F1 GT, Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR, SSC Ultimate Aero, and the Shelby Cobra 427 S/C. The SSC is the cheapest one at 620,000cr but I think I want the CLK-GTR first. I like having cars that not every Forza player has.

Anyways I'm going to try to finish career mode by Thanksgiving or so. Considering I'm starting school on Monday and taking 14 credit hours, as well as working Thursday-Sunday nights, and also having a girlfriend who I love being around, I think it's a reasonable goal

Honestly, I was blown away by the F50GT when I was doing time attack with it around the ring, it's a ridiculous. I have one and you can guess which color I have it in.

 

I really need to get back to playing the game, stupid COD,lol.

With almost 8 million credits to my name, even after the 3.5 million credit 599XX purchase, I've been having fun buying cars for the hell of it. I bought this 135i, modded it, drove it around and took some pictures, and then sold it in the Auction House all in the same day:

Classes started today so I haven't had much time to play. Hopefully I'll be able to play a bit sometime this week.

i just got CS5 on my new computer and tried using it.

viewed some of my old pics on my 27" 1080p screen and man, its sharp. but when i drag the images onto my 17".. lol.. wtf is this shit!

gonna be quite interesting editing these fm3 pics now. lol

 

I just did the 'Ring endurance race. 9 laps.

My best lap time was 6:20.413 in the #9 Peuget 908. The whole race took 58 mins.

I have no life.
