"here are the NOW LEGAL tint combinations. Up to 35% in the Rear/up to 35% front 35-30% in the rear/up to 50% front IF YOU HAVE BELOW 30% TINT IN THE REAR, YOU CAN NOT HAVE FRONT TINT If you have an MPV, which include but are not limited to, SUVs, Station Wagons, minivans, Toasters, etc., and said MPV has factory installed privacy glass (smoked), you are allowed to have up to 50% tint in front."
"you can't have lower than 30% on the back if you want your front doors tinted."

So unlucky
I hate cops.
So today I decide to get my front windows tinted with 18% to finish off my back windows. Not even 8 hours later I drive past a cop in a parking lot and he turns around to follow me. I'm like is this guy serious. So he pulls me over farther down the stree and gives me a ticket for tint. I couldn't even roll down the windows to try n hide it b/c that would mess up the tint.
So the ticket is $50 and I have to pay in the next 5 days in the mail. Should I just pay it and be done with it or blow off the ticket? Either way, I dont think I'll be removng my tint. What do u guys think I should do?

u were under the limit anyway. i just got a speeding ticket. unless my friend can pull something (great to meet ppl at the meets, u never know when they can come in hand) im just gonna pay it and go to traffic school so i dont get another violation on my record.

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to provide that a person may drive a motor vehicle with a nonreflective material tinted film that does not allow less than 50% light transmittance (or less than 35% light transmittance if the windows to the rear of the driver already have certain window treatment applied) upon the side windows immediately adjacent to each side of the driver. Deletes a front windshield exemption for persons afflicted with or suffering from a medical illness, ailment, or disease. Deletes an exemption to certain window obstruction provisions for motor vehicles manufactured prior to January 1, 1982. Provides that is a petty offense for a first offense and a Class C misdemeanor for a second offense for an installer to install window treatment on motor vehicles that do not have specified license plates or stickers. Effective immediately.

@ your statement about getting 5% tint like some 16yr. old... your a fucking tool.Edit* You rly wanna help your 2 young kids and the sun? ..get some actual sunshades in the rear.
