Is there a transmission specialist in Rockford that could be recommended? I had D5 flashing, VSA, and CELs thrown the other day and my transmission has been struggling to "lock in" gear when downshifting at a turn and continuing travel. Likely transmission needs replaced…any recommendations in Rockford?

Wish I could help. I drove 1.5 hours north to Wisconsin to have King Motorsport rebuild my manual tranny. Don't know of anything closer I trust.

 

I found one in my town, actually - seemed to do great work as the new '07 Accord tranny is solid.

 

So you going to use 07 accord tranny? What is the shops name if you don't mind me asking?

I was at Rockford Speedway last year for an autocross, it was definitely interesting.
