me and brian are plannig on meeting up localy at a random place and heading down their, i got no problem meeting up by me (harwood hts (h.i.p. mall)) or Arlington hts around brians house.

let me or him know if u want to meet up with us and cruise up to the actual meet.

Oke doke.. after some google map'n.. I say we pre-meet @ The Starbucks off Willow Rd. Its pretty close to Field's Infiniti and we can just hop on 94 from there to the meet since the location is right off 94.

But if I remember correctly, and I do.. its a real small location and its right across the street from the Police Station.. There's either a Jewel or Dominicks across the street from the Starbucks (To the left of the Police station) with a huge lot that could probably accommodate all of us.

Yep.. there's a Dominicks there. Lets say around 11:00? ..and roll out by 11:30 - 11:45???

 

^ just a note if you look closer at the maps...the road that the starbucks is on is the same exact road that the meet is on (i thinks its called central or something in front of the starbucks but it becomes frontage road around the bend)...that starbucks is literally 60 seconds from the infiniti dealer, just wanna make sure you realize, but I'm sure you do...no need to get on the 94 for a 60 second or less ride...

actually when i think about it, there is no northbound entrance to the 94 off of willow...in fact to get on the 94 northbound from willow, you have to go up frontage road which takes you to the meet anyway...just so you guys know.

i guess you could take frontage road up to tower, grab the 94 and get off on dundee west bound and then make a left onto skokie blvd which then turns into frontage and infiniti dealer is on that as well...its very complicated around this area! lol...

i would just take central/ frontage all the way to the meet directly from the starbucks pre meet.

I might come to this starbucks thing as well if my schedule permits...it might not...

You are right, no northbound entrance. So if I can make it, after SCS, we'll meet at Starbucks and then just drive up on Central Ave / W. Frontage Rd. to Infiniti.

Ok.. different Starbucks location located in Northbrook, IL. The drive looks like its about 15-20 minutes away from the meet, depending on whose leading and how fast we're traveling..

That works for me. I installed my hood pins and it makes the front end look so much beter. It wast easy cutting a huge oval hole in my cf hood, but it was worth it seeing the finished product

i just wanted to make sure you guys realized the other one was so close...i shouldnt have said anything, then if i ran into you guys i coulda asked "hey how was the cruise of the year?"

from the cherry lane starbucks, i would make a right onto meadow road and head north to then make a right onto dundee. then just head east for awhile until you make a right on skokie, follow skokie and you'll see infiniti on the right after some curves in the road. don't get on expressway.

if you want to get on expressway, its fine: get on 94 toward chicago, but get off on first exit labeled tower road. then you can make a right at the street light and head back up to the infiniti dealer you would have passed on the expressway.

Haha, that almost would have bee worth it.

 

so after about 4.5 hrs of detailing my car. my roof and trunk are beyond repair by just detailing, the clear coat is scratched up badly. so a cf trunk will be in order in a few weeks and i have to figure out something for the roof. the front and rear bumpers are a lighter red than the car.

Its hard for me to see the pics of the roof, but if you are doing a CF trunk to match your CF hood, I'd either overlay the roof in CF ($$$ ) or a black vinyl overlay.
