ive never been there b4, what exactly are u paying for? a racetrack to do laps on? i maybe going cuz im pretty sure the semester ends and finals should b over. if i do go, i warn u that i have nothing to bring to the table since my car is stock.

 

its go karting. 3 sessions (about 8-12laps each, depending on how fast u are). $45 for 3races and 10 or 15 every race after that. but thats from what i remember from last year.

 

i think their prices have gone up from what i've read.

 

interesting...from my go karting experience, the person who gets to go first ends up getting first place. there is rarely any passing up if everyone makes tight turns. but theres always that one lucky go kart that has a fast engine for some reason.

 

^their is that one lucky go kart. but its all a driver game. last year we challanged the owner and said that if we pick the kart for him, and if we win, he owes us a free race. it wasnt the fast kart on the track, but he knew how to take the turns and when to slow down and speed up. so he laped us

^^you can pass people really easily and since its kind of a slippery track people spin out all the time! ive started in last place and still won more then a few times

o yea i forgot to add that its not an oval or circle track theres a bunch turns and some r really tight turns but other then that you can pretty much drift through the first half of the track at full throttle

 

^maybe it was his son. it was a short guy. 5'5" or so.

drifting is great. u can pass ppl easy while drifting.


i dont care how many ppl show up. just so im not alone. its gonna the the regulars like always.

 

no that was the owner his son is like 13!!!! but thats all he does so he knows that track better then ne one!

um.the guys that signed up, 3pm is good with the rest of u? its good for me.

i just came back from the track. nice lay out. got 12-13 laps. placed 4th. after a year of not racing u need to get the hang of it again. adrenalin rush for sure.

Chicago is lame during the winter. thank god for snow, at least i can lose control while being under control.

 

Gotta love the cold dense air though Beat an '04 GTO and the new SHO since the temp dropped. The SHO kill was bittersweet because I had a '93 5spd.

Anytime on Saturday is cool with me, I'm free and game.
