Chicago Acura Meet (MAY MEET)~ planning stages~
Ok guys, so i know we just had a meet but hey there is no stopping there. im sure some of you got some more mods that you are just itching to install and show off. Plus i know there are still alot more Acuras out there....I missed this past meet so ill start the thread and see if anyone is interested.
Im thinking either Saturday May 16th or Sunday May 17th.
Location - ?? maybe the same place as the April 25th meet? ANY IDEAS?? persnoally i would prefer chicago but there is just too much congestion in the city and vacant lots are like NO -EXISTENT
Time - 1pm....maybe some of us could gather about 12:30 ish or so and do a roll out?
Maybe we could BBQ again or possibly help install mods at this meet for folk that need help or insight on certain mods
So what do you guys think?

May is too soon IMO. June or July sounds about right.
We should brainstorm possible venues before setting a date.
Jim's lot is out.
Forest Preserves are always nice. If we want something with a nice backdrop, then it'll probably have to be in the city. Schaumburg / suburbs have a ton of vacant lots but not a lot to do. We could all get drunk at Medieval Times. Haha we could do a meet in the suburbs and cruise into the city... maybe hit up the Field Museum / Shedd Aquarium / Adler Planetarium / Navy Pier area.
Lets get the ideas flowing... then if any planning is necessary, we'll have ample time.

New proposed dates
ok, so i think late June or mid July sounds good. im thinking since its so soon lets go with June 6th, 7th, 20th, 21st....as far a July goes, not really sure. But its up to us all to agree to a date before we can commit to planning.
Jason, i think the cruise from the suburbs to the city would be pretty hot! but only if everyone else is with the game plan. ill start brainsortming some places downtown where a bunch of us can cruise to and take some pics. they have alot of spots along the lakefront as well....what u think about that?

Dj very adamant about having the meet on those dates... As far as location, i'm not a local to chicago, so whatever works... I think we need to find a fairly busy area, where cars can drive by and be like "wth is going on there?" Get some exposure.

the meet sounds good. anyone think of starting a chicago "AC" club for the people who are becoming regulars,at the meets. I think everyone has some contacts and it could be a good networking thing, as well as make our meets much stronger! ( hmmmhmmm, Jason, Carlos, Adam, etc.) l think we can make it somethin great i know alot of people who could contribute. let me know what u think.....

well thats why am on here i wanna go to the next meet. we need to show east coast how we Chi-Town can do it. lol
but hopefully by then my car will have the rims i want.

YES MULA!!! AND I NEED MULA. LOL
man you ain't joking. thats why am taking my time. next on the list is the rims.
then i will be adding some little feature's you know like HID Kit for the fog lights, then drilled rotors, get my caliper's painted orange. --->lol... but little shit like that. oh and then lower it with H&R springs. but all this is money. money. lol

i dont mind a may meet or june or whenever, ive met some really cool people ovr the past 2 meets so as long as everyone keeps in touch, im sure this summer there will be alot more great meets!
