Autocross at Sears Centre this weekend
Howdy. I'm a new guy. I'm about to start work at Acura of Westmont & currently Autocross the World's Fastest Scion in Street Touring class. I'm currently #3 in Chicago region behind a Scooby 2.5 RS, and an RSX.
One of my favorite cars was known as Frankensushi, a '90 Integra, that I bought from a buddy. It was painted flat black, on mildly cut coils & steel wheels. And an exhaust helped by an IKEA table leg...
TSSCC.org is holding TWO races this weekend at Sears Centre. I was at the first one a couple months ago & It was fun & challenging. The lot is peaked, so almost half the turns are off-camber. $40 ea day
I'll be running both days. Black Scion XA. Green Quik Shade canopy.

Yours truly took two second places.
On Saturday, it was a second behind an Impreza 2.5RS
and today, it was a second and a half behind a standard RSX auto. The Buddy Club coilovers he installed this year are helping him a lot.
The Scion isn't going to get any faster, so the nut behind the wheel needs to improve until the car is replaced...
