Driving it maybe 1-2 a week since I'm working from home. Can't really say I've done much other than firing up the car to go for a 20-30 minute spin.
Can't complain though. Good car. Hoping to figure out a short road trip later in July to finally get it on a long trek other than just commuting to work -- which was what it basically did since I got it.

The FX is still going good. Drove it around yesterday in the heavy rain. It's got a couple of nicks we need to repair including -- wait for it -- a new windshield and smiley-faced curve is all across the bottom portion and the wife gave the rear drive side rim some curb rash.

I just caught a rock in my windshield the other day. Hopefully no new windshield needed. Just one of those repairs they do. My understanding is Audi windshields are tough replacements to do..even by a professional.

Yeah, I guess with the HUD, Audi pre-sense and etc. etc., the labor is up there too. Only 2 places in town are qualified to execute the replacement apparently.

Great!
I recently took the car through a touchless wash at the nearby gas station and being the guy that I am, as I was exiting the wash bay, I turned too early because I was more worried about the dip in the pavement and turned my car into the curb.
This, for a guy with a 4-way camera but look, let me be with my skillz.
Anyways, FORTUNATELY, after I pissed my pants (not literally, you @$$) when I heard the scraping sound, I checked and to my relief, I just scraped my mudflap. No rim or paint damage.
SAVED BY THE MUDFLAP!!!
Car's great otherwise.

Ah. That's good. You had me worried too.
LOL.
Time to invest in a pressure washer and foam cannon for touchless washing!

To be honest.. as much as i think Your favorite company copied the shit out of everyone with the GV80TT... i think that will be the next Telluride for the luxury segment...
If i was in the market for a GLE43 or X5 40i or Audi Q7.... i think i would pick it over all of those...
Might be a good replacement for the FX.

The current economic situation has us continuing to keep the FX for awhile. But, if things improve and we need to replace, I think I'm going back to Audi...Q3 possibly. Or maybe e-tron if electric makes sense by then for us. I'm not ruling out the other lux manufacturers but if it was right now, likely Audi.
