Yumcha Buys Car, Arrives After World Ends, Abuse of Vehicle Ensues

Not sure if it's veneer. But, any car from the last couple of years will have something like it if there is a mini-digital display to output what the cabin temperature is, the setting for the vents, and etc.

Yeah, this would be similar: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00068KU1K/...v_ov_lig_dp_it
Apparently, it works on clear, plastic trim which I believe is the surface of the display between the temp. knobs. Your Audi would have that same mini-screen too, Mike. You know which one I'm referring to, right? It's not an LCD surface as far as I can tell.

Don't touch the fucking screen Yummy.
You can turn a minor annoyance to something much worse.
Okay, it's probably not rocket science and you can just do some hand polishing with something very mild.
I'm sure those plastic polishes are fine.
I don't know, I would want to do it for you...not let you go nuts on your own.

thanks man...just speaking from my own experience but guiding a buddy to try a bunch of different untested chemicals on the interior of his new
expensive car over the internet...if he came back to us saying something I personally told him to try fucked it up. I would feel badly.
Plus, I've fucked things up worse so many times.
Yum is taking the right approach. It's a car...a little wear and tear here and there won't cause you to stare. if you dare.

The only reason I looked them up was because my stealership told me to try that place as their R8 customers go there to clean their vehicles.
Yeah, my S5 was out of place.

I'm not talking about an actual film...
I'm talking about a particular molecular treatment...like the inside of a headlight lens or the motorcycle bezel glass...something not intended to be touched or rubbed or sanded or polished.

Not this shit again..
Toothpaste and petro jelly is a shitty solution
You're essentially using the toothpaste as an abrasive to grind the surface and petro jelly to fill in.. total shit idea.
Fundamentally sound, but shit execution
I'd use a magic eraser with water and gently remove the smudge, light strokes until it's gone
If it's a real scratch, you're fucked, you need a filler that hardens and buff it out
I think film is overkill for that little screen.

Magic eraser is melamine foam.
I wouldn't even compare it to those sandpaper foam pads.
Sandpaper is dense and rigid, melamine foam is porous and flexible.
It's abrasive, but the sensitivity of it isn't comparable to sandpaper.
H, If you have doubts, rub your dick with it..or some shitdick's screen at work.
Just make sure you're only applying it over the xfer mark with water.
Light and even until gone with moisture.
Again, it's not to be used to remove scratches.
What H is describing is a transfer mark / smudge.
He's using the magic eraser to remove the material on the screen, not sanding down the screen.

Thanks, dude.
So, in short, Maj doesn't think using the Magic Eraser will be detrimental so long as I am super gentle in the application and with water.
Bah, I should just fly the guy out here so he can hold my hand/crotch/nipple while I applying the bar to the mini-scuff.

I'm sure if you were nice
They'd take into consideration that you paid sticker
and take care of it for you to make sure you buy the next ride with them sticker
I don't know these things.. too cheap and generally don't give a shit
Ask J about my curb stops

Red interior FTW... You know it is legit when Acura and Camry all start putting red interior in their cars.
You know what the problem was... you showed her a Dodge.... with red interior... show her a BMW with red interior, she will be 100% guaranteed to have a different opinion.
