By "original", are you talking about 1966's "Batman: The Movie"? Or the 1989 Michael Keaton "Batman"? Personally, I like the 1966 Batmobile the best. It's campy fun. The 1989 batmobile is a close second. The Tumbler from Batman Begins sucks ass. It just shows Hollywood giving into the whole SUV thing. The batmobile never has been and never should be anything other than a two seat sportscar.

Also on my list:
* Columbo's '59 Peugeot 403 convertible
* Ghostbuter's Ecto-1 (I saw an Ecto-1 locally made from a '96 Caprice wagon...pretty funny)
* The '61 Ferrari 250GT from Ferris Bueller

another fav:

Hawk's car from Spenser for Hire ^^photochop of model

honorable mention: the first time I saw the Fox body Stang GT on screen was also in Spenser for Hire (which the title character procured after the 66 Fastback got destroyed). I loved that Mustang until the prick demographic adopted it as the official pace car of the Guido 500.

Coming to you soon in your local theater.

I have pics of it somewhere. When I was shooting the stock car TV show, they had the Mach 5 at one of the big races. It was one of 5 built to be used in the live action movie.

It was built using a C5 vette for underpinnings.

Should look good on screen....cause too many "flaws" were noticable in person.
