Lexus info

I just bought the wife an 01 RX300 AWD. The one thing she wants the car doesn't have is heated seats. It has the blank off plates where the heated seat switches would go.
My question is, what are my chances the heating elements and wiring are in the car just waiting for the buyer to say go on that option so the dealership can charge $$$ just to add a few switches.

Not likely. I would imagine that the heated seats is a factory option as opposed to a dealer option.

Yea that's not gonna happen with a factory system. I know that some bigger car stereo shops will install aftermarket heated seat systems tho. I'm not sure how much they cost, but I know that they exist.

Is there anything special about the leather or padding in vehicles that come equipped with heated seats?
