If you look closely, you can see the outline of the headlights and kidney grille, so I think definitely. Why was it still covered? Hasn't the F10 M5 already been revealed?

Should've pulled the covers up

Revealed? Yes. But, all up-close inspection thus far has been under BMW's supervision. Looks like they may be moving to the next phase.

I'm not entirely sure that is a new M5. Out of all the pictures from around the world taken of the car, none have those wheels on it.

True. The new M3 isn't due out until 2013 and (AFAIK) there's been no reveal (or talk?) of a new M6 though.

Looking at it more, that's a 535i under there as those are the factory V-Spoke Style 331 wheels that come with the Sport Package option on the car.

The F10's wheels are either the optional 20" split 5-spoke shown on the press release or the standard 19" wheels here.

I would've taken the cover off and took pics if no security people was around.

why not just feel the fender to tell?
Instead of taking the whole thing off, just look for that shark fin fender.

Really not sure why they (probably) have a 535i covered up.

I don't think its an M5 because the front bumper doesn't look quite as flared, but I could be wrong.

Sorry for not responding sooner. I didn't have the chance to uncover it, I was in a rush to catch a flight. Maybe next time?

Couple other BMW-related things I noticed while there:

X1. Looks a LOT smaller in person. It's nice though. Not sure what it would compete against. I only see something like the Infiniti EX35 to be anything comparable to this:

Also saw this...Who woulda thunk you can fit wheels off a 6 series onto an Odyssey?
