You never know
What you will find in the Costco parking lot...
In his defense, he said he was driving to a meet and just needed to pick something small up, but wow, nice car. Owner said his was #256.
FYI: That is Bob Bonduraunt's signature on the dash.

Not sure if you can tell from pic#1, but the car "leans" a bit toward the driver's side. The owner was heavy guy, and watching him get out of the car made me chuckle, but he was a really nice guy,and certainly appreciated what he had, as well as the fact that people like me would gawk.
He said he races it every year at Monterey's Concourse d'Elegance.

You can build one for yourself... Factory Five (see the decal at the top of the windsheild) is about 35 miles from me...

I smell a weekend car in my future!

I was on their website looking at their stuff yesterday after seeing their ad in C&D. Definietly a fun way to get into building your own car.
They even offer courses you can take to guide you in the building of the car which I thought was pretty cool. From what I gathered, they provide most of the parts depending on which package you choose, but you have to provide your own engine and transmission. How do you choose which motor and transmission to go with?

Like our roadster kit, the Coupe kit can be built two ways. You can buy a base kit that is “donor Mustang capable”, or you can buy the complete kit that gives you just about every nut and bolt you’ll need to build the car (except for engine/trans, wheel/tires, and paint).
The car can be built using original parts, all new parts, or a combination of Mustang donor parts. The base kit is designed to enable you to use running gear parts from a 1987-1993 Ford Mustang donor car… but the kit you build can use just about any combination of Ford running gear parts.

I suspect a whole fuel injected 5.0 setup would be easier to obtain and install than starting with a crate engine, though.

Or one could get the 2.3l 4 cylinder to save gas...
