I do believe even well into the year 2000+, it only came with a tape player.

My 94 has a Acura 6disc changer in the trunk. Not sure if it was standard but the headunit has controls for it.

I believe it was an 08... However, they need to stop making that thing. The interior layout design of the car was so damn ugly, I couldn't believe it. The ride and suspension felt like something out of the 90's as well.

I drove an 07 Mustang V6 convertible and the interior was horible. I never realized how close it is to the GT interior, too. What a shame.

Wow. I have always LOVED the NSX interior personally. The center stack is perfect the way it comes down at such a shallow angle putting everything in easy reach. I just wish the gauges were a little less 1990 Accord....

I know! Thats something you do to like a 90s silverado, f150, or old caddy. That is disgusting. Some people just have no taste.

I work at an Audi dealer and Audi does not offer a factory color like that. It must have been a custom request.

They make a color called Amaretto but it's lighter than that.

Worst interior: ANYTHING built by Chrysler. I can't think of any Chrysler product with an interior that I even find remotely attractive.

Come to think of it, you're right. I can't bring to mind a single interior that is even good.

There is nothing wrong with the interior of the Challenger save the steering wheel. It might not have "flair" but I find elegance in simplicity.

The Bimmer E60 5 series has a shit interior.

there's not much to love about the challengers interior though. It's part bin galore. Effectively a Chrysler 300 with Navi, some color changes and an even uglier steering wheel.

There isnt anything to hate about it, cept the wheel.

Its simple. Throw backish to the old challengers.

Sure, the concept interior was more exciting, but I find nothing wrong with this one. It was quite comfortable and user friendly.

oh, I take back them doing something actually different. That was how it was labeled on the site I got it from. I like the center stack onb the concept, like the lower center on the actual car, and the gauges, I'm not sure about. Somewhere in between.

I hate hazard switches on the steering column. My car has it, but at least its tucked away underneath and to the side..... on some cars its right on top of the damn column shroud. :ghey: You have to do a reacharound to switch it on/off. Its as if the designers said, "oh shit we forgot the hazard switch again, oh well lets just stick it on the top of the steering column shroud like we always do."

Anyone have pictures of terribly unergonomic interiors? I particularly hate it when cars have trunk releases in the glovebox *cough*mustangs*cough* or when the radio is mounted in there, like in old cars. One thing I always like about Hondas is their ergonomics, everything's well within reach, in a logical spot, or close enough.

In terms of unergonomic, I actually hate the BMW door release. I'm pretty sure they're the same on every model, it's got the weird angle where it's slanted downward. It's not a natural hand position.

And look at that Challenger pic. The door release is on the bottom of the door instead of near the top. So you reach down to open the door instead of reaching up. I don't like it there either.

I see that on certain SUVs so I guess it's for helping the passenger pull his fat ass into the car. But for something that sits low like the PT Cruiser, there's no use for it.

I thought it was a little sad how boring the Taurus became in it's last years after that radical bubble design.

Those interiors don't all look bad, just very different. If different is bad than I don't want good.

I like the wierdness of it. I worry that people think different is ugly and that in order for something to look good it must not step far too outside the lines. It's that kind of thinking that leaves us with Camrys.

Here's the problem I have: If I spend $5000 on a car, the interior is expected to look like shit. But if you spend $75K, it better look good. Well, get ready for awful, because $75K gets you this....With 1997 minivan leftovers:

If that isn't god-awful, then somebody show me the door.....
I mean, for fuck sake Dodge/Chrysler, have some balls and actually design an interior using some ideas from the industry leaders. If I spent that kind of coin on a car, the interior had better be spot on.

This doesn't look bad to you?? It's heinous! Who in their right mind thought that was good to give to consumers?!
