I'm going to buy an Audi a4 98 quattro 1.8t for 1000 bucks. 
picking it up tonight has a seized motor so ill be looking for one to replace it and will flip it or maybe use it for the winter.

LOL^^^^ it is a problem on some b5's the service records for this car are from day 1..
does anyone know If it would be an easy swap to go tdi???

Oh the owner says that "he was driving on the freeway when loss of power occurred he pulled over towed it home". three months later he tried starting the motor up ran for a couple mins and seized the starter wont turn the motor over"
