Based on what I've seen people posting about their salaries on this site, most people here are either at or over 40%.

What a dumbass. There really is no excuse, the salesman/financing person should be penalized/fined and the lady should be forced to live with her mistake. I don't know how in the hell you can make such an important fiscal decision without realizing the implications. Plus if she gets let off the hook with something akin to a slap on the wrist, it'll start giving other people ideas.

I'm 19 years old and have a CC with a limit was higher than the amounts in my bank accounts right now but I don't have any debt. So I WILL reward myself with some new rims.

shoot my face this bitch is crazy. how can she have the audacity to blame someone else for her bungled financial decision?

Sure that stealership is partly at fault, but i would not put all the blame or even a majority of it on the dealership.

fuck stupid people. Be more fiscally responsible for your actions.

For example, I fucked myself pretty bad and was in a 9000$ hole about half a year ago. Ive since cut all my fun spending and put about 200-400$ every two weeks towards credit card payments. Ive since cut that debt by more than 1/2 and am on my way to being debt free for the first time in years.

You dont see me blaming the stupid CC companies for giving me high credit limits... I accept that I spent alot of money I didnt have then, and now I'm paying for it (and I have forever learned to not be that stupid ever again )

Shit why not. Once all your basic needs are met, rainy day fund in place, college plans are funded, retirement funded well, live a little. If cars are your thing, splurge a little and get a dream ride.

there's a sucker born every minute. BUT whomever entered the false income, whether it was her who lied about it or the dealership inflating it with or without her knowing, commited fraud.

that is illegal, but she had plenty of chances between taking a test drive and taking the keys and driving it off the lot to say

Shoot her and bill her next of kin for the bullet. I've had enough of these irresponsible losers who only act as a drain upon society. Where's my DeLorean? I'm going back to Ancient Sparta.

If you can do all that on less than 60% of your gross then by all means I agree

That's only if he paid cash. Ammortize it over the typical 36 to 60 months and it's a smaller percentage.
