will the new RSX-S engine and tranny fit in a civic??
I was wonder since the B16 and B18 engine transplants are now more common on civics today then 5 years ago. Also the previous teg and civics shared the same platform and interchangeable parts and stuff? Anyone here know? Six speed civic with 200 bhp

yep... it will fit.
The 2002 Civic Si is just going to have the 160hp base RSX engine. So there's no reason why the 200hp Type S engine wouldn't fit. Not sure if the Civic is going to have a 5 or 6 speed though. If it has the 5spd, my guess the 6spd tranny would fit as well though.

NEW RSK = $22,000+
Civic w/ RSX-S engine = $7,000-10,000
and i'll still have the prelude. The civics body is lighter then the RSX.

You're wrong on the concept but correct on the concept.
The K20C that comes in the RSX-S turns clockwise. It is related to the S2000's F20 and closely related to the new engine that comes in the new, built-in-England 6th-gen Civic Si.
The RSX-S K20C should have no problems being shoehorned into the upcoming Civic Si.
In contrast, all the previous and even current-gen (6th-gen) non-Si/Type R Civics feature a counterclockwise engine. I think that there will be problems trying to put any of the RSX engines into them, the least of which is that the mounts will probably be way off.
