My uncle had one as a loaner because his 540i 6MT was in the shop for a service. 300 miles on the odometer and it dies at an intersection. It refused to start. Turn the key and nothing. Absolutely dead. I had to give him my Chrysler minivan rental so he could get his family home.

Just an experience. Hope everything checked out upon inspection and buy extended warranty.

i usually think x3's look weird, but this one is really nice, and great color combo
glad to hear your wife and child are alright
and congrats on the purchase
Me too. That is why I was shocked that I liked it. I then figured out that because of the sports package the front and rear bumpers and side skirts are different from the normal one. That and the wheels makes it look a lot better IMO.

Thanks for the compliment.

That just sucks. Yeah, I hope nothing like that happens to us. Yes we have the extended warranty and maintenance contract. Eventhough it is a one owner car I wouldn't consider driving a 3 y/o Bimmer without that.

That car looks really "rich" in that color with those wheels. Congrats on the purchase and good to hear your family was ok. Nice grass, too!
