Also another reason to have a dash cam. The Expedition I overtake at 0:44 hit a child. If you look earlier, you'll see his brake light come on and he stops... I didn't even realize this until I drove back on the same road 10 minutes later and saw about 6 or 7 cop cars, a fire truck, and the same expedition still there. I decided to pull over and I asked what happened, the police officer me a child had been struck. I told him I had a dash cam and offered to show him him what the footage I caught when I drove by. I was genuinely shocked when he told me... Moral of the story: Get a dashcam, you never know what you might catch... I feel bad for the guy, but at least my video exonerates him(?) proves how dark it was and that he did stop.... It's kind of scary to think that had I left 10 seconds earlier that would have been me...
