Why do Pickup Truck drivers drive like entitled douchebags?

Is there something about owning a pickup truck that instantly makes you an assclown? AZ owners with trucks please chime in

So are they asscowns or douchbags?

I had some assclown in front of me the other day, wouldn't even drive the speed limit, didn't know what a turn signal was. I was wondering if it was the driver or the car it's was a older model Corolla.

Still doesnt explain why you joined acurazine. Not that im saying you shouldnt have. Just, i hadnt ever come across acurazine until i was searching for Acura forums when i got my TL. If i didnt have an Acura, I wouldve never bothered to join.

Well i was wondering if anyone else here had the same experience where most of the people they encounter driving pick up trucks are driving without consideration for others on the road

We all started somewhere and He may not have the budget like some on here. The wheel covers are a bit much, but it's your money.

Some pickup truck drivers do drive nutty and drive with a sense of entitlement, but not most.

It is not the vehicle it is the driver. Lately I have noticed many BMW drivers have not learned the proper rules of the roads.

Trolling thread aside, there does seem to be an inordinate number of contractors that drive like absolute shit around here.

The #2 culprit? Accord sedans, for some reason.

Here in Texas I have to deal with those truck douchebags. Not all truck drivers are idiots, mainly the younger crowd ones, especially the ones that have 18 piaa lights up top and a 100 inch lift and huge mudding tires (all of this for driving in the city ). They feel like the own the road.

But I've gotten used to it. I usually stay away from them or speed past them to not be near them cus a lot of the times I will see them driving erratically for fun.

Thank you.
My favorite thing about this topic is all the people that go straight to your sig to see what kind of cars you own.

Did it never occur to you people that everyone might not list all their cars on their sig for whatever reason? Not only that but someones opinion shouldnt be dismissed based upon what cars they own. Having a bugatti doesnt make you a car expert and owning a toyota corolla doesn make you car illiterate. But if it makes you feel better to dismiss others because you think you are driving a better car, by all means knock yourself out

Ive got 2 big trucks (Expedition) and want a Crew Cab Chevy Durmax HD.

We truck drivers drive like that because we can. Ever notice when gas prices are high who are still the fastest on the road. Yup. US. We dont care

TX truck drivers are the worst. The want to race everything in sight and think the whole road belongs to them.

Funny how you state this, yet call truck drivers douchebags

My daily driver is a truck. Some people might say I'm a bit agressive in all of my driving, but the short of it is that I don't like going slow. As long as folks are considerate and don't try to police the world themselves in the left lane, then I'm as polite as most everyone else.
