Why do I do this to myself???
Well, in an effort to try and pin down what I want, I stopped by the dealerships today. The 350Z roadster I would say is definately out. I just cannot get past how cheap the interior is.
So, then I went to BMW. Might have been OK, but the salesjackass was exactly that. Completely unhelpful at all. And the selection they had was just aweful (only like 2 330CI's. Whoop de do). Just not helpful at all. Seemed like they wanted to get rid of me before I got out of my car.
Same at Mercedes, no selection and no help (no one even stepped in our direction).
Finally, we went to Acura. They had a left over 2004 TL with the A-Spec package. I figured what the hell, let's drive it (only drove the non A-Spec TL). You notice the car rides a little firmer than stock, but still pretty smoothe over some bumpy roads. I really liked this car. Unfortunately, they weren't giving me diddly squat for the A4 so that kinda killed the deal (unless I wanted to come up with some serious $$$ for a down payment). But now, I can't stop thinking about that damn car.
So, the only thing left to do now is test the G35C again then make the final decision, but right now it looks like the TL will be the next car I get.

The TL is almost the perfect car. I just think they look a little to ordinary. However, when you add the A-Spec package it looks a whole lot better. And the one thing I dug more than anything (this is how freaking wierd I am) is the steering wheel. The blue stitching and that little patch of grey (or maybe it was parchment) in the leather just set something off in me.

I think the last time I checked, my ideal G coupe was near $36K.

What sucks is, if I wait, then I'll have to pay a lot more for an 05 A-spec. Since this car has been sitting for awhile, they want to get rid of it, but it's still just a bit more than what I want to part with as far as payments were concerned.
Damn this is gonna be a loooong weekend...
