Well, I'll throw a third possibility into the mix....
I've heard that Acura is going back to their Fall releases on new models, so the new TL will be out in late 2003 as a 2004.
OK, so 3 replies with 3 answers... what does that mean?? It means no one knows. Honda/Acura has not announced anything at all, so everything you'll here in this post is all rumors and lies. My guess is that Acura will have an announcement early 2003, but again, that's a guess and could be wrong.
If you like the 2003 model... get it. The odds really are that the new model will be out later rather then sooner.....

Future Vehilce (Motor Trend):
2004 Acura RL: Honda has developed a night vision system, likely to be offered on the RL first.
2004 Acura TL: Redesign. More power and styling for Acura's Accord-based bread-and-butter, near-lux sedan.
Now, I think that both the Type-S and RL will get the 300 HP 3.5L hidden in the DualNote.
