Which wheel?
I know neither are Ideal, but i'm not looking to spend big $$$ on wheels right now. I'll be getting these so cheap that it's worth it just simply to get a bigger tire underneath.
Which do you like better?
sizes will be 18 x 8 front and 18 x 9.5 rear
or these

#1...lesser of two evils.
Geez. A quick look and it looks like you dont have much to choose from. I hate them all, but this ones... *meh* Painted black would look good, probably http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=3316

nope, those are basically my only options unless I go w/ a custom set from DPE, CCW, etc, don't want to do that

for the price i'm paying, I don't care, they are simply to serve a function. It's an absolute no brainer, when the time comes I'll upgrade and sell these for a good amount more then i'm paying for them.
I agree w/ you though, they aren't the best looking. Options w/o going custom are basically limited to wheels made by TSW

again it's out of necessity, best I can fit on the stock wheels is 235/40's. I'd like to do 245/40's up front and 275/35's in the rear. Car really really needs it.

im sure you can pull it off.. those pics/angles suck
Can you do something else instead? Does the car come stock with LSD? Get slicks for the track? Stickier tires?
If you are forced into buying wheels you only sorta like youll spend more in the long run than if you just wait it out.

Car has LSD, stickier tires will help but i'll still be on a 235/40/18 w/ 400 hp and 400 lb ft. I could care less about slicks for the track.
I won't spend more in the long run, as mentioned, when it comes time for new wheels after these, I'll be able to sell these for a pretty good profit over what I am paying for them. Again, I am getting a deal that basically makes it a no brainer, simply just to get a bigger tire under there.
