What are your thoughts on these headlights?

http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154170

I am thinking of doing it to my car when I have the time, may also have the grill painted gloss black.

The headlights are out of the car, taking apart assemblies in a few minutes and painting

looks a lot better than stock!

if you remember, similar thing happened on the 97-98 Supras from the factory (chrome housing to dark grey) - and that looked hot too.

One is done and back in the car, the other is waiting to be taken apart and painted. I also decided to do the grill the same color, while leaving the emblem chrome.

The grill was chipping anyways and dealerships seem to be dickbags about fixing it, so this should take care of it. After the bumper was off it was only 5 more buts to remove the grill so I felt obligated to take care of it right now.

I broke my digital camera a few months ago and haven't got around to getting a new one so it will probably take me a few days to get pictures up... so far it looks really mean, I like it!

I always worry about resealing headlight housings with HIDs. A little moisture could cause ballasts to blow ... expensive replacement. Bought an extra set of cleared headlight housings from a Toronto AZ member way back when ... sold it because they leaked on me twice on my feeble attempts to reseal them.

Looked great at the time but I won't be doing that again (once bit ... twice shy).

Post pics already, tireguy! Don't be so cheap and buy yourself a digital camera. I realize you pride yourself on that but there is a point where you have to draw the line!

the pics aren't loading for me either.

I like those headlights, but I think clear lens > dark lens.

wow, awesome job my man!! The grille was a nice touch as well..I'm a huge fan of blacked out grilles. Didn't wanna black out the emblem eh? Either way, it looks fantastic.
