There's nothing like starting your morning to discover that someone kicked your fender in. I would have noticed this one when I was cleaning off my windshield as I got gas last night on my way home. Why would someone do this to someone's car randomly. It was probably some little high school punk in our neighborhood.

that sucks man! I'm sorry to see. do you think the color of the car has anything to do with it? honestly though.. I think yellow might attract bad things.. for instance... the guy who owns 6speedonline was cruising around NW burbs of IL in his yellow Gallardo and first got bottles thrown at the car, and then he chased the guys who did it, and then he got SHOT AT!!!!!! ... serious you gotta be careful out there. of course that was a Gallardo so that kinda didn't help the situation, but still. I think yellow cars may be targets.

Literally, had I hit something, there would be smear damage. A slash along the sides or something. When you actually look at it, there's a black smear along the edge that looks like it's from a marking sole of a shoe. Like I also mentioned, I would have seen this one when I was cleaning off the car's windshield and headlights last night. I'm beyond pissed today. I've got a group drive I'm supposed to be attending next weekend.

It's all aluminum. That shit's fragile. If a bird takes a healthy dump on it, the hood dents.

That sucks Kurt, but it's not to be unexpected. Your car is hot and it's yellow, therefore it will attract attention from the good and the bad crowd.

Who knows what can happen on our drives? I'm almost tempted to just get it off for repairs immediately and ride with you next week. It's a good thing I have a body shop connection that I've already talked to today.

I'm not exactly regretting getting another S2K, but in some strange way, I do miss the TSX. I did take a ride in it on Friday. Remember folks, it's still in the family (in my brother's garage). I guess if I hadn't had such luck with this S2K, I wouldn't look at it this way.
