Anyone that has been a member for a while still have their original car that brought them to this site?

I was just thinking about this tonight and all of the vehicles I've gone through. Here is a quick rundown...

When I joined, I had a new 2001 Mitsubishi Galant the was less then 3 months old and I hated it... I found this site and a few days later came home with my Acura. I seem to get the new car bug every 12-18 months.

1. 2001 Acura CL-S
2. 2001 Chevy Silverado LT (ex wife and I)
3. 2003 Toyota 4-runner Limited V-8 4x4 (traded in the CL-S)
Moved from CA to TX
4. 2003 Cadillac CTS (talked girlfriend into it )
5. 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (second car with 4runner- bought used in 04 with 15K miles)
6. 2005 Pontiac GTO (goodbye 4runner and Grand Prix)
7. 2006 Nissan Maxima SE (see ya caddy)
8. 2007 GMC Yukon (traded in the GTO and bought for fiance for X-mas)
9. 2007 Mazda3 s (traded in Maxima which I had been driving for 10 months)
10. 2008 Buick Enclave CXL (still own at least for the rest of '09
11. 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP (traded in Mazda)


All those cars and this is still the only forum in which I am still active. Says a lot for all of the people that make this place so great!

On my first Acura a 1997 3.2TL. Loving it with no sign of getting rid of it anytime soon

 

I started on Acurazine with an '05 TSX...but its not the same '05 TSX I have now. My thanks to everyone here for that.

The 99 Saber brought me here, and has since departed.

I replaced it with the Subaru, and that's it. No other cars. Lots of envy and lust for other cars (OP included), but none purchased but one.

My 03 CL 6spd brought me to this site. I hardly ever had to post a new thread in the CL section because most of my questions where asked before and answered by other members. The search function has definitely saved me some time and money. Great site

I've since traded in the CL for 09 FX35 (Nav/Premium packages) about a month ago.

I also own 06 G35 coupe.

My grandpa on my Mom's side gave me the VW thing, I think someone hit a tree in mexico and rebuilt the front end from scratch. It's a odd Collection of parts.

The Mercury Marquis was given to me by my Grandpa on my Dad's side. That car blew a head gasket and lost a transmission before it hit 50,000 miles. He bought a new ford ranger when he was 92 years old.
