What snow tires

I know this should be in the wheels section, but it seems like it it not often visited.

I am going to get snow tires for the M6 we have. Everyone loves the Blizzacks it seems, but i see they make a couple different models of them.

Which model do you recommend?

What body style M6? older M6's have metric tires and if you want snows the only way to go is with new wheels. On new M6's(if they are even out yet) your only option will be Bridgestone, because they are run-flats. So what size are you looking for? I am some what of an expert on winter tires and have a lot experience with every major brand.

I'm going out on a limb and speculate that he is talking about a Mazda6 and not a BMW M6. Either way, yes, the Dunlop Winter Sport M3's are great 'performance' winter tires. Blizzaks will be better in deep snow, but on dry pavement the Dunlops will grip better and be less noisy.

I hope that he isnt driving a nice M6 around in the snow, those things are potential rust buckets with out the addition of salt.

He does, ask him for some pics.

I'd go with the WS-50's, anything over a 60 profile is a non-directional pattern so you can cross rotate them which is good with the soft rubber. The revo's are new and look ok, but the WS-50 seem to have the biggest teeth on them.
