What is my estimated horsepower
I have a 1980 454 engine, stock peanut port oval heads, rebuilt, bored 30 over. Keath black 9.5 compression pistons, edelbrock perforer 2 cam and lifters, hooker headers 2in, edelbrock multi port fuel injection, with 29 lb injectors. Looking for your best guess.

Maybe one of the dyno shops listed in the following thread can help : http://nitroimage.proboards.com/inde...lay&thread=288

Have you or someone built this engine yet? I'm a little confused by your camshaft. Are you referring to a Torker II? Are you looking for horsepower, or is torque in your application more desirable?
The engine probably had no more than around 220-240 horsepower in factory specs. Thirty over is negligible, and the headers, depending on design, probably won't offer that much improvement either. If you haven't installed headers yet, there are FAR better quality exhaust systems than Hooker. Without knowing your camshaft specifications or a few other minor details, I would think around three hundred horsepower (if that) would be realistic. Again, depending on specifics, torque values may have increased more favourable than horsepower.

I'm guessing 325hp at the crank.

Maybe around 300'ish. The heads in those older V8's are usually a major horsepower bottleneck. Throw on some hi-flow aluminum heads and it would probably see some huge gains.
