What kind of car is this?

Was on the way to chick-fil-a and saw this at a red light. It was in prime condition considering how old it must be.

While I like the Austin Healey 3000 even more, this is an MG A, a nice "old school" sports car.

I don't want to pollute people's threads with my pics, but a guy around here has one with a 427 Chevy motor in it, he showed it at the last local speed shop Friday night show. Looked like a real nice job but I'm guessing kinda front heavy.
