Honda Civic - European AD

 

Ha! Seriously one of the best, most ingenious commercials I've seen in a long time. Are they showing that on US tv? I've never seen it before.

Ad company gets an A+.

If Honda put that kinda effort into advertising Hondas and Acuras in the US, then maybe people would feel they they have some more soul.

 

Much better than the last honda ad i saw here, it was for the new civic and apparently when you drive down the street, people just come out and start dancing for no reason! its great!!!

Some days, I feel like Honda and Acura need to fire their ad agencies and get new ones that do a much better job of developing creative, relatable advertising for the US market.

 

Phase 1: Show Honda Pilot driving on same snowy flat land
Phase 2: ...
Phase 3: PROFIT!

Not very creative. Not terribly logical either, but they'll figure out Phase 2 sometime. Who cares, when you already get Phase 3 without having to do much else.

 

But I'll bet there are so many customers out there they're losing out on by not figuring out that Phase 2. And their current ad agencies are in a rut and haven't really come up with anything super innovative.

However, I did see a recent RL commercial that was pretty decent.

 

the latest tv ad for the Acura RL is pretty impressive. It's the one where people are shown doing normal things, except parts from the RL are present (e.g. couple eating dinner at a restaurant and the chairs are the seats from the RL).

 

She has potential!

 

Excellent commercial... second to the JDM Accord Wagon with all the parts... that one will always be my favorite.

 

Great commercial. The only problem I have with it is not one clear view of the whole car.
