Does Honda have plans for a new pickup? The reason I ask is because tonight while driving on the loop 101, I drove past a large pickup with all that black stealth cladding stuff they put on new models to disguise them. When I was driving up on it, I thought ,Wow a lifted Ridgeline, looks good. Then when I passed, it looked like it had a flat black paint job, but then I realized it was that black cladding stuff to disguise the look. It was a full size truck. Is the Ridgeline considered a full-size truck? Anyways it was definitely some sort of Honda pickup, it had the basic lines and had the uni-body bed, you know, no gap in between the cab and bed. I wish I knew what is was. I can't see Honda making anything larger then the Ridgeline, lack of sales, and no V8, just does not make sense. Although I'll bet we will see a V8 in a few years now that F1's format are V8's. F1's previous engine format were V10's, next generation NSX's will use V10's right? Alright I'm done. Any ideas on what I saw??

Well I do know the turbodiesel is going into the Ridgeline and Pilot.. perhaps the MDX too. Maybe it was a test vehicle.. Honda tests them in Arizona according to many spy photos.

Maybe you saw a test mule for the new Chevy?

My guess. The 07' Ava with less plastic cladding could definately be confused with a Ridgeline on 'roids and the is NO gap between the cab and bed.

Well, with Toyota building a full-size Tundra, Honda taking the next step and moving up to a full-size pickup isn't too unbelievable.
