I was thinking that too but I think I would rather have the loaded Mazda than a Base Camry for the same $$$.
I still like the Jetta TDI but I can't find any info on the 07's. Did they discontinue them???

You forgot the biggest issue... 6-Speed Manual which I don't like driving on my 100 mile a day through numerous towns and all on city streets and 1 lane highways. It's fun for a while but becomes too much work.

The new EPA ratings are 'supposed' to be alot more accurate. Thats what sodaluvr was referring to, the new ratings.
