I am getting ready to actively look for the Elise I am going to buy and want input on colors. There are a lot of colors available for a relatively rare car, I want something bright. Here are the colors I am leaning towards(in no particular order), some of the pictures are fairly small, I didn't want to post huge pictures, if your interested google them to see more from different angles. If it matters I am pretty sold on black seats, unless I get Chili Red at which time I would entertain biscuit(which is tan). I also plan to keep silver wheels on it, it seems a lot of elise people like black wheels, I am not one of them.

Chrome orange

Laser Blue

krypton green(very rare)

Aubergine purple(very rare)

Magnetic Blue

Chilli Red

Solar Yellow

 

Aubergine purple would be my first choice

Good choice for the Elise, that is what I call a REAL sports car...I bet you'll get amazing sensations out of that one...Can't you strecth out to an Exige S though?

I've seen almost all of those in person, and I can tell you that the Krypton Green is just a nasty nasty color.

You can get white with red, but the red seats are a maroonish red color, not bright red.

I could easily get into an exige S, but I don't want the harsher ride, I don't like the added body stuff(larger vents, wing, etc...) and I can now get more power with an aftermarket supercharger and save $10k+. I should mention that I am crazy and plan to use this as a daily driver at first and eventually get another daily driver at which point i will turn this into a exclusive weekend/nice weather car and consider doing the supercharger at that point.

 

Purple might be a hard color on resale...

I voted for blue, but the orange and yellow are also nice...

The KG is one of the few I haven't seen in real life, it is pretty offensive in pictures, but there is no denying it is bright!

 

It does turn an unusual color orange in sunlight, I like your Ardent red, but I don't want an 05. It seems that in 05 the free colors were to popular and they changed them slightly and made them optional colors, so ardent red and safron yellow went away and we now have chili red and solar yellow. The yellows are very close, the reds... not so much.

Orange without a doubt

 

White with black interior. Saw an Exige in that color combo a little while ago and damn it looked good.
I saw one of these at work today and that thing is so gaudy looking. Gold gas door, black and gold interior *cringes*.

 

I plan to buy used and I'm fairly particular about certain options, if a white and black was otherwise perfect with low miles I probably would go with it, white does look pretty good on the car.
