What car to get?
cts-v has no competition on the road it will rape any car u put it up against short of a zr1 911 turbo or a gtr so if ur looking for performance and looks definatly go with the new cts-v coupe u more or less own the road and the interior is very nice

I second the CTS-V Coupe.
Unless you go exotic, nothing comes close on the road with regard to performance, styling, and having that wow-factor.
I sat in one of these beauties and loved the alcantara steering wheel, recaro buckets, and the overall cockpit feel.
This is coming from a former 3-series owner: you can't go wrong with the M3, but you know what you'll be getting and will among thousands on the road... I'd go with the CTS-V Coupe and never look back
i sat in a CTS-V coupe for the first time at the car show the other day. I don't think I was that impressed. I'm not sure why, I couldn't put my finger on it. Maybe just all those buttons and stuff. I also seemed to have a hard time getting in and out of it, which is weird since that usually doesn't bother me. It's a great looking car though.
I love the M3 and it's still my dream car. But I'm going to have to say the CTS-V coupe. I saw one in person and I was literally speechless. At least around my neighborhood, you'll be breaking everyone's neck with that car. And like a poster above said, you'll spank almost anyone that wants to mess with you on the road.
If you get it, bring it to the Wedneday night Hooters meets we have and give us a little show!

I would get the M3. The S65 is an amazing motor and likely the only M3 ever to be offered with a V8. Plus you can get it in three different body configurations. The sedan M3 is not likely to be offered when the F30 comes around.
The CTS is awesome too. I sat in a demo, the acceleration is amazing, but in terms of cornering and all around performance I think the M3 is still king.

i might have to run over to Cadillac to test drive a CTS-V and also run over to Jaguar to see how the XF Supercharged is like. For the M3 i driven it a few times 6MT and also the SMG version so i know how the car handles ill keep you guys updated
Yeah man just test drive them all and decide on which one stokes you the most. I was looking at S5, M6, SL550, Cayman S and Carrera S and I was super close to getting the M6. Didn't look at Jag at the time although the new XKR is tits.
Bottom line is it's win-win with your choices. Are you leasing or buying? If leasing then it's hard to beat BMW. I'm uncertain whether I would want to own any of your 3 choices outside of warranty however

And I had a chance to drive the new M3 once before.. I was sooooooooooo in love with it. It's just so amazing once you get to drive it. It's definitely not vanilla. There's a reason why it's been a benchmark sport car for so long.
M3 fo shizzle then. V8, 414 hp, you can lease the vert for cheaper than the coupe or sedan now. 3 year residual is 61% and money factor is .00090 (2.16% interest). Negotiate price down to 72K and you'll be looking at $8xx/month with 0 cap cost reduction and free maintenance for lease duration. Difficult to beat this.
don't get me wrong, I think I had really high expectations, because I had only seen it in pictures.
Actually sitting in it, I don't think I was quite impressed. Maybe because it was a car show and there were fingerprints everywhere, but it also had a cheaper quality feel than what I was expecting from a $70k+ car. Definite improvement over older caddy's, but just fit and finish/materials didn't seem quite up to par. I guess if I was actually in that market though, I'd give it a more in depth assessment, but I just sat in it for like 5 minutes.
