What to buy after CL

What to buy after CL
I have an 03 CL (no S). It has just under 94,000 miles and I am wanting something newer once I hit 100,000. The problem is I don't want to down grade in regard to options and quality of vehicle. The new cars that compare to the cl (in my opinion) are the tl, g35, bmw 3 series and audi a4's. The only problem is these cars are pretty expensive. I want an 06 or newer and my budget is 20k. Anybody have any other suggestions?

The thing is, an 05TL is the same as an 08 TL only slight differences.
An 07 G35 is a completely different beast than an 05.
The 3 series really haven't changed that much besides for the 335 and a bump up in the engines.
The Caddy CTS isn't a bad car and I'm not really an American car fan.
A used 2006 A4 is a pretty nice car but the new 09 will make that models price fall faster than a girls dress on prom night.

next step in progression for me would be a G35 coupe, BMW M3 (tough for 20k tho), or ive always liked the 330ci with the zhp package...
edit: although part of me wants a convertible next and part of me is would consider a 4 door

Older NSXs can be found for little. However the newer ones with the 3.2 and a 6 speed are more expensive, which sucks.
I'm actually putting some thought into this as well. I almost bought an NSX over the CL, but I couldn't insure it due to my driving history (7 tickets, 3 suspension in 2 years). I'd love to get a brand new Acura when the time comes, but what they have in the current lineup is hideous. I'm also thinking about the new S3000 (or whatever S variant Honda comes out with). I hate to say it, but if Honda or Acura fails to strike my fancy with the new vehicles, I will probably make the journey to BMW.
Unless of course I can finally insure an NSX.

my friend's brother sold his 92 nsx recently for about 22. but he had way over 100k on it (may even be 170k) not sure.
it was a yellow one and he was selling it out of seatle.

All I have to say is yup!!!!! I did the same thing....I love my G coupe. I plan on getting an EVO soon too...so that car is another option for you as well if you're going all out performance etc

it's good to know that by the time you kill someone, you would have only spent a couple grand out of pocket.

There are plenty of great options out there in this price range, as others have mentioned. I wouldn't rule out the new accord either, you can easily get equipped with everything your CL has.
