the lightning is the best of those 3.. If I drove a truck, that would be it.

I disagree. The reason I like trucks is to get away from cars. I like to sit up higher, have low end power to tow, 4wd capabilities, etc... the Lightning, while I think it's cool, is basically a car to me. If I want a fast car, I'm getting a fast car... not a "car" that looks like a truck, you know? But I realize that not everyone wants a truck for the reasons that I do.

Those are great examples! Along that line, how about the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8....

exactly, trucks for the "truck use" are pointless to me, i dont live in the sticks and i dont haul anything...

hence why if i drove a truck, it would be a quicker, lower to the ground truck...

same with the jeeps, i dont want one, but for whatever reason i got into one, it would be an SRT version.... b/c there is nothing fun about driving a skyscraper in a concrete jungle lol

i have greater appreciation for the 5.9L over the new SRT - as everyone knows, to some extent, the SRT capabilites....the 1998 5.9L was the worlds fastest SUV at the time - very few ppl were aware of that. IMO, it was the best looking body style too.

my buddy has a 94 S-10 SS.

I think it's pretty cool that most people don't know or believe they existed.

most just know of the extremes.

Terminators are still one of my favorite cars. LOVE the way they sound. Putting a big blower on the DOHC 4.6 and going from a solid-rear axle to IRS....

Also much more affordable than the Shelby GT500 is

I'd have to go with the CLK Black ... AMG's Black Editions are amazing vehicles.

I'd love to own a RS5 when it hits the streets here.

The 1989 E24 M6 is one of my favorite cars of all time:

Talking Volvo R series?

I think Volvo did a good job with the R series. The wagons were quite cool, being 300HP grocery getters. They weren't overtly special, but special they were.

Even the model from around 1999 - 2000 was fast and stealthy

My brother had a 1988 M6, it was him and his wife's only car so when they had their first child they got a Cayenne Turbo to replace it. He just bought a 2004 911 Cabriolet to make up for the M6.

I don't think you can make up for getting rid of an E24 M6

I will never understand why just because a car has an excessive amount of power, ridiculous price tag, and too many cylinders that people think its the greatest thing ever.

Out of all the cars in this thread, a veyron would be last on my list. I would rather drive a Sleeper Dodge Omni than have everyone drooling for no reason at me in a veyron that I spent too much on...I hate that car, so overrated.

/pointless rant.
