What is acura doing to their front ends?
That chrome bar on the TSX and now the next TL is absolutely hideous and is a complete distraction......what are they thinking?

I love the way my TL looks but the new Acuras are downright awful looking in my opinion. And the new TL is not even going to be all wheel drive. I love my car but I think Acura is falling behind the competition in terms of looks and performance. I know this thread is suppose to be about the front ends of the new cars. I just think Acura is falling behind.

Ive seen the new TSX on the road a couple times now.
I dont love the new grille...but they arent as bad in person, they are liveable.

Someone in Honda/Acura Corporate has a hard on for the new grille styling so they've been putting it on everything since the MDX came out with it...
I loved the look of the old style grilles (2GCL, 3GTL, 1GTSX)...

acura is going to take over the wold.... the grill is like that to distract you when time comes they will activate it and the car is going to turn in to

What Would Don Draper Do?
the new TSX has definitely grown on me. i still don't like the grille, but it is what it is.
maybe that will start growing on me too. if they were going for a corporate grille, i wish they did the MDX's grille with two "shields" instead of the guillotine look.
i think it'll grow on people though.
when audi debuted their "big mouth" grille, many hated it. now, i'm finding more and more people that have gotten used to it and warmed up to it or like it now.
i think acura's will do the same.

I'm quite on the fence about the new TSX...the pics were alright but after seeing the car in person at the dealership recently for an oilchange on the CL, my reaction to the TSX is a big meh.

the two things i really don't like are the grille and wheels. luckily, those are easy to fix/replace. may be costly. but not difficult.

Honestly, what Acura really needs is to raid someone from Audi or Ford's Europe design team...lock him (or her) up for a month or so and ask him (or her) to redesign all the vehicles in the line-up.
Is that too much to ask...?
