Yea, like he said. Call them tell them you "somehow" got in the wrong lane and by the time you figured it out it was too late, but you are willing to pay the toll. Worked for my brothers wife X2.

Call and say you are willing to pay the toll. Any toll amount is better than a ticket

I accidentally did that once - brought the other car without the tag through the EZPass lane. I just called and told them what happened and they charged the tag for the amount. But, I don't really know how it works if you don't have a tag at all. I guess just call them and explain like everyone else said.

just called them, they said to wait for the ticket and select an option on the ticket which says it was an accident and explain your story. They said first time violators should get away with it and are only required to send in the toll amount.

I opened an ezpass account and asked them to charge the toll to it, but they would'nt do that.

Time to play the waiting game.

Oh well, good luck. Sounds like it's not a big deal the first time around.

You can just drive through it backward and it'll credit the original toll.

I have no easy pass but when I went through the ez pass lane they sure as hell sent me a ticket with a nice picture of your cars ass(I paid the fine like an ass) so you can be 99.9% sure it's coming. all 4-5 of my friends that ran an easy pass got tickets. glad it's your first offense and it worked out.

off topic:your better off running the exact change. my friend runs toll's like they're not even there no tickets.it's ok cuz he beeps his horn though

Luckily (not sure if still the case) HCTRA had a 3 strike rule before you got a ticket.

Also, joined Acura specific forum to ask about running an ezpass toll lane.

You can thank Google. Likely a search result, then he signed up and posted. Pretty much the same thing that happens with all of those other random topics and how most non-Acura folks find Car Talk...
