I failed to mention it would have to be a clone. I've seen a few of them built on regular 70's 911 bodys and then converted to the specs of a RS.

I was figuring you forgot the red text! You seem to know enought about Porsches to know a 73 RS is going to be a tricky one to a) find and b) pay for.

Oh, I know what the clones are (and figured that's what you meant)... you can get over 35K real quick...

I've love to get a SC (galvanized body) and backdate it into a 73 clone. It's getting tough to find decent early 70's 911's for cheap. I love the period colors signal yellow and tangerine...

There was a bastardized yellow 66 912 with ducktail and a pancake (914 and bus) motor in it for 6500 on craigslist in NH that looked like an interesting start to a RS clone...
