We Rolllin....They Hatinn lol SPEEDING TICKEt in NJ HELP!!

I was going to NJ with my dad.... I-80 about exit 37 near Morris County... OOPOOP "Pull other to the right"

My dads first violation in 19 years

Speeding ... 80 in a 65

Nuttin you can do just pray for the best...

Cop returns and hands us a ticket...

The license plate is written down wrong ... I know for a parking ticket this would be beat, but what about a Moving Violation in NJ

It says Court Appearance is not required... When I go online to njmcdirect.com to attempet to pay for the ticket it doesnt let me, because the lincense plate they want me to write is BRV... but my dads is BRU .

So I cant pay for the ticket......

What should we do ?

Thanks

I say go to court they might throw out the whole thing if you get a good enough lawyer.

Any errors to the ticket can and will be corrected in court. If you go to court it is possible that it will be dropped since it's his first violation in 19 years. He'll probably get PBJ. Anything to avoid paying NJ surcharges every year.

That entire state is a scam. You get caught speeding so you pay the fine. Then every year until your points are removed from your license you pay a surcharge. It's like you're fined 4 times for the same violation. Gay.

Pulled over for 80? Everyone does 80 in 65 zone in Jersey (wait, that is on the NJ Turnpike, not sure about I-80)... Guess your dad just unlucky.

I'd just be honest, go to court and tell him that it is your dad's first time in 19 years. He probably just has to pay the fine and no points.

You might want consult with a lawyer but, I think recording an incorrect tag# may have voided the ticket.

My wife received a speeding ticket in Piscataway a few years ago. The cop failed to indicate on the citation the manner in which he was able to determine that she was speeding (i.e.: radar, lidar, vascar, pace). When my wife went to the prosecutor/DA, all she had to do was pay the court fee and the summons was dismissed. In her case the ticket was not necessarily wrong rather, it was just incomplete. (Court fee >>>>> ticket fine + ins surcharges)

This is his 1st ticket. Go to court and get it dropped and just pay the fine.

I have a lawyer that dropped both of my tickets last year. One for neglegent and the other for rear ending a person with no insurance or license.

In both of the tickets parts of the information wasn't right or didn't match up to my car so they were dropped.
