Warped rotors on my accord
Hey guys,
My 04 accord's rotors are warped. At first when i took the car into the dealer, they said that since i had a bent rim, and a bubble on the tire. That i had to replace that first before they could be sure that it's my brake rotors are warped. I said BS and walked out of there because they wanted $180 for the a steel wheel and $80 for a replacement tire. Riiiiiiight.
Anyways... i took my car to NTB and they sold me a wheel for $90 and they said that my tire was fine. Nothing wrong with it.
Now i took my car back to the Honda dealer and they are refusing to replace the rotors again. They said they can only machine it. But i know that machining will only cause the rotors to warp again even quicker than they did the first time.
Should i just let them machine it while it's still under warranty? Or do you guys think i should get myself a nice set of brembo blanks and just replace them? Or do you think that there are some dealers that may even replace the rotors?
thanks

I was stupid and went to Monro muffler/brake. they were dicks. they screwed me over on 2 sets of rotors. the OEM rotors on the car had 250 k on them(orginal set) they put on these shitty Bendix brakes. I went through a set of rotors in 6 thousand miles they had to turn em. i drove it another about 4 k they replaced em. now after about another 5 k i need to replace em.
don't go to those cheap-o places to get your brakes done they screw you over.
15 k and two sets of rotors is crazy. (yet the manager tells me it's my driving and bendix is better than OEM) yeah whatever.he claimed i was full of shit when i got 250 k out of OEM rotors. (yet we bought the car new and know everyone whos drove it). i have all the documents on it so i showed them to him he still denied it. he's like your hideing some bill where you bought it.
