I like them...Wife hates them...Seems to be the census...

 

They are meh at best.

 

I like them but they are very expensive and 215hp just doesn't cut it.

Doesn't need to be the 300hp S60R engine but 240 or so would have been better.

 

yea I could see how the looks could be questionable..

 

227 hp doesnt seem too bad for a car like that. I'd never buy one, but they seem fun.

I love them, if I were to buy a new car now, I'd definitely be looking at one.

I was hoping for a bit more power out of a turbo I-5, but it's definitely not as common as a GTi. I think it would be a tough decision between those two. The GTi might win for the DSG and offering a 5door model if you prefer those options, but I like having something not as common. My only problem is whenever I build one online, a fully equipped one can run over 35k pretty easily

 

I do like the styling, many don't...

I can't see myself driving one but it's a unique car for sure....

 

They're way overpriced up here and I hardly see any for that reason. I've seen them in the high $50K range at the dealers around here...

I can't believe so many people don't like this car. Maybe I just like quirky (ie. ugly) cars. More and more am I finding all 'normal' looking cars horribly boring.

i like them. but i wouldn't buy one.

 

I've been looking at the C-30 as an option to keeping my TL-- I like looks and size of the C-30. The back hatch is not very large, though.

The reviews have been so-so as to how responsive the steering feels, but I haven't driven the C-30 yet. They do get ridiculously pricey as far as MSRP with desirable options (from $24K base to $38K loaded, for leather, Bluetooth, nicer interior, etc. ), and the list of separate options is ridiculously long, like GM and Ford cars back in the '70s.
The manual trans C-30 is a high-6/low-7 second car 0-60- about the same as a manual trans TSX.

Yeah, I'm not fan of them either. Exterior is meh. The back side is just a tad weird for me.

 

This one has a very strange dash...The area with the stereo is basically a panel, you can put your hand behind it....

 

I always liked the way the interiors looked. But I remember sitting in a c70, and wasn't impressed with the quality of materials, and feel of the interior. I just remember thinking it looked good, but somehow still felt like a ford.

The minimalistic kinda styling though, I think, is a refreshing change from a lot of interiors these days that look like just nothing but a big jumble of buttons

 

The last generation s80 dash(pre-Ford) was pretty nice IMO (new one isn't bad), but the new s40/c70/c30 dashes are prett chintzy looking.

 

The wife and I like the pop-up Nav...She's probably getting an 08 C70...

I think it looks great. But I'd pass and get something else.

 

upgrade with some evolve parts/accessories, and i think it'll look nice.
