Cool Volga - ????

What do you guys think of Russians making a car??

I think this looks amazing

it is powered by
5.5l v12 from bmw 850
380hp @5300rpm
top speed 270~275km/ (170mph??)

This car was built sometime ago as a one-off for some Russian big-wig. There was a write-up in C&D about it a couple of years ago.

Hot car none-the-less.

Seems to owe a lot to the old Darrin custom designs......... and there is a touch of Raymond Lowey in there. Sweet line though.

Ray's designs were way ahead of their time. Definitely a lot of early and mid-50s Studebaker there.

Thats right, because it was a one off, that was built by a highly secretive company. It probably cost way more than anyone on this forum could fathom spending on a vehcle. Not to mention it was Russian inspired.

He did some of the sweetest body designs out there in his era - too radical for their time.
